Just an update of our club’s doings on non pick-up days at DF Malan:
We have entered into the Cape Town Ultimate Winter League together with some of the UCT-B players. This combined team is called the Kalahari Cowboys! We have learnt a lot and narrowly lost to UCT-A this Monday 15-11. We have now played three games, losing two of them, but it is awesome!
We hope to transfer the skills we learn there to you guys at pick-up games at DF Malan! Feel free to pull through and support us on Mondays! This way you will get a feel of competitive Ultimate and whether or not you want a slice of it sometime soon!
We are in full swing with both training days now, Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is difficult with the weather, but keep an eye on the facebook group’s posts if games are still on.
Always look to better yourself and those around you. No one likes a stagnant player or person.
Hope to see more people joining us for pick-up games. The days are getting longer! Yeah!
